Hailing from the self-proclaimed idyllic post-apocalyptic wasteland metropolis of Akron, Ohio, EarthQuaker Devices doesn’t just manufacture effects pedals, they inspire musical adventures for all sonic explorers. Insert one music lover, obsessed guitar effects pedal owning, high school graphic design teacher; poof it was a match made in heaven. Starting from scratch, spending an endless ear-splitting amount of time deep diving, crash course case studying amount of time, research began by dissecting the cavernous catalog of creative sounds prescribed by Earthquaker Devices. Next up, define your effects pedal style, knobs, switches, functions, two-tone color scheme, artist feature statement, pedal description, and most importantly graphical awesomeness. Made with fresh ingredients, one selected winner was fabricated top to bottom from power-coated goodness.
